Membership Information

A new MicroTest on-line training is currently being designed. Additional details and pricing on this training option will be available soon.

MicroTest welcomes new members and feels that broad participation greatly benefits individual members as well as the overall industry. Participation in MicroTest requires annual dues and an initial on-site training by our certified MicroTest trainer, Marian Doub of Friedman Associates.  Read details about new member training below.

Initial Training
Initial Training New members will kick off their MicroTest membership with an on-site 1½ day training with our certified trainer, Marian Doub. The hands-on training provides the overview and rationale for MicroTest's approach to data collection, and in-depth training on the program performance measures and client outcomes, tools, and data collection processes. The training fee is $2,900 per organization, plus travel and accommodations for Ms. Doub. This includes the first year's MicroTest membership, all membership and training materials, 1.5 days of on-site training, up to four one-hour phone consultations, one pre-training, three post-training for use any time within 1 year after training.

Once an organization is a member, it is free to take advantage of any and all MicroTest member benefits in a given year, which include:

  • A tested and proven set of performance measures, used by over 150 agencies and endorsed by the Association for Enterprise Opportunity
  • Tools to assess program performance and track client outcomes;
  • Technical assistance to improve program performance and outcomes tracking;
  • Expert consulting to assist your program to analyze and use its MicroTest data and reports;
  • Comprehensive and customized reports on program performance and client outcomes;
  • A forum to connect to other MicroTest members who are committed to improving performance; and
  • The latest best practice resources and findings from FIELD.

MicroTest also offers group training to a minimum of four participating organizations. The group training, hosted by MicroTest's certified trainer, Marian Doub, will take place in San Francisco, and include:

  • In San Francisco, CA for up to three staff per program covering a hands-on case-study based introduction and practicum in the MicroTest Program Performance and Outcomes systems—requirements, purpose, data collection, reports and use of the results to get you up and running with MicroTest;
  • Up to four one-hour phone consultations for each member: one pre-training, three post-training for use any time within 1 year after training;
  • Breakfast and lunch provided; and
  • The first year of MicroTest membership.

The fee for the group training is $1,750 per organization, plus travel and accommodations for Ms. Doub (trainer travel expenses and adjustments in cost may be needed for alternate locations).

Note: Group training requires a minimum of four participating organizations. Alternative locations for training require a minimum of six participating organizations.
